1. Controller

2. Server Log Files & Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit this site, the hosting provider automatically collects technical information in server log files that your browser transmits, including:

· Browser type and version
· Operating system
· Referrer URL
· Host name of the accessing computer
· Date and time of the server request
· IP address (anonymised / truncated where technically possible)

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR — our legitimate interest in a secure, stable and correctly functioning website. This data is not merged with other data sources. Logs are retained for no longer than necessary (typically up to 30 days) and then deleted or anonymised.

A data processing agreement (Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag, Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with Vercel. Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, Vercel relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

3. SSL / TLS Encryption

This site uses SSL/TLS encryption for security and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” prefix in your browser's address bar.

4. Cookies, Consent & Tracking

We use cookies and comparable technologies. Strictly necessary cookies — including the cookie that stores your consent choice (koios_consent) — are set on the basis of § 25 (2) no. 2 TTDSG and Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, as they are technically required to provide the service you requested. For all non-essential technologies (analytics and marketing) we obtain your prior consent through our cookie banner. Legal basis: § 25 (1) TTDSG (TDDDG) in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the Cookie Settings link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).

Google Tag Manager. We use Google Tag Manager (GTM), a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. GTM itself does not set analytics cookies; it is a container that loads other tags only in accordance with the consent you have given. We implement Google Consent Mode v2, so before you make a choice all analytics and advertising storage is set to deny by default.

Google Analytics. If you consent to the analytics category, we load Google Analytics 4 (provider: Google Ireland Limited) via Google Tag Manager. It uses cookies to help us understand how visitors use the website (e.g. pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type). IP addresses are shortened before any further processing. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. Typical cookies: _ga and _ga_*, stored for up to 24 months.

Marketing. If you consent to the marketing category, advertising tags managed in Google Tag Manager may set cookies to measure campaign performance and show you more relevant content. These are activated only with your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR).

Transfer to third countries. When these Google services are active, data may be transferred to and processed by Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and the transfer is additionally safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR). U.S. authorities may, under certain circumstances, be able to access such data.

5. Contact by Email

If you contact us by email (e.g. hey@lifeisapitch.io), the information you provide — including your email address, name and the content of your message — will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your enquiry and for any follow-up questions.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures) where your request relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). Your data will be deleted once storage is no longer necessary or we will restrict processing where statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Client Hub (koios.ai/hub)

If you are a client and access a protected hub page, we process the business contact data you have provided (name, company, email) and any content you submit (messages, offer acceptance, documents) on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract). We use HubSpot Ireland Ltd. as a CRM processor and OpenAI / Anthropic as sub-processors for AI features; data processing agreements are in place.

7. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights regarding personal data relating to you:

· Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
· Right to erasure / “right to be forgotten” (Art. 17 GDPR)
· Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

· Right to withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7 (3) GDPR), without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal
